Rainbows

This picture is one of my absolute favorites of Jarrod & Jed. It was such a wonderful end to a fun and exciting night. I don't have time to write a lot at the moment, as we're leaving town in a few hours, so I'll leave it all to the page.

New LO

I love digital scrapping. There's no mess for Jed to get into or that is in the way for weeks at a time. I can close it up and come back days later without anyone getting into my project. Once you cut something you're not committed to that shape since there is the undo button. It's perfect for a visual person that needs to physically see something before they know if they like it or not.

Well, here's my next page. I just love this picture of Jed. He was always sleeping in his fleecy blankets - such a snugglebug! This hasn't changed. He's starting to remind me of Linus from Peanuts - always carrying around his blanket(s). It's amusing to watch him try to carry three or more. You're thinking how could he have more than three blankets. Well, any blanket is Jed's blanket. He does have his own, of which those are his favorites. But it doesn't matter - he often drags my blanket off the couch or another off our bed. He really enjoys blankets.

I do have some dissapointing news - my free trial of Photoshop Elements 5 (PSE5) is about to run out. I enjoy scrapping so much so I maybe I will look for another type of software to try or just purchase PSE5. So, this website may be on hold for a little while after Friday.

Unbelievable

Well, I never thought I'd do this - actually make scrapbook pages and such. I don't have much creativity in me. I'm a linear thinker - very much based on logic, not creativity. That's why I teach chemistry and physics.

Well, I created this site so I can share my layouts (LO's) with fellow friends that also scrapbook (Karen - you're really the only friend and fellow scrapper I know :) ) I also hope my family and friends enjoy our family memories that I'm hoping to capture.

Also, don't expect much once the school year begins. Most people are blessed if I can even return a phone call or email once I start teaching in the fall. You'll see that even though I really enjoy scrapping, I love my family more and I'll spend my out-of-school time with them first.

Here's one of my first pages - I probably have done about 5 by now. This one I put together before I learned how to do drop shadows (Thanks to Misty Cato). For some reason when I compressed this one, it lost part of a frame in one of the small pictures. This page represents the few pictures we have of US on our honeymoon. We took over 100 pictures, but only four of the two of us together. FYI for the family: It's proper etiquette to give credit to the designer of any papers, alphabets and elements you use.

I apologize, I was interuppted by a 17 mo old and didn't write down who/where the silver frames are from. Please let me know it they are yours.

This LO is after I learned how to do some drop shadows.
